Hello there! Thanks so much for visiting my little digital art website. My name is Leslie Shimasaki and I have been dabbling in art of all kinds all my life. Whether it be paints, markers, paper crafts and many other tools, I have always enjoyed creating. I was a kitchen design by day and secret artist wannabe by night!

But in early 2020, something happened. The pandemic. Although this didn’t really have anything to do with my art endeavors, I discovered digital art while scrolling one day. I discovered a woman who was creating seamless patterns on her computer using Adobe illustrator. It was fascinating! I immediatly took her class on Creative Live and a new obsession was born. I learned all I could about this new-to-me artform of seamless pattern creation. I had never really thought about how patterns were created for clothing, home decor and so much more.

After spending lots of time learning this new area of art, I was off to learning to create illustrations on my iPad using Procreate. I have taken hundreds of classes and thought it was time to make a little space on the interwebs to share my experiences and knowledge about this fun, always changing, art that you can take anywhere!
